It all started with my Dads Canon AE-1. I began taking photos of the world around me with that camera and learned how to experiment with angles, color, and lighting. I have only a little classroom experience, but have spent many hours learning from amazing photographers online and in person, as well as experimenting and playing. A few years ago, I was able to purchase my first digital SLR. I continued to grow and learn, both in photography skills and in editing. I was still mostly interested in landscapes and street scenes, although I had begun to be interested in photos of people on the street as well.

Then, in October 2008, my daughter was born. I began experimenting with a whole new avenue of photography. I wanted to document so much of her life, but I wanted to do it creatively, not just with snapshots. Every moment is so amazing, and to capture even a small amount of these moments allows us to remember even the smallest things.
